He Ignored His Mom’s Worried Phone Calls. Instead? BRILLIANT!!

What mother doesn't revert to a state of panic when she doesn’t know where her kids are after going out at night? On the other hand, what kid gets so annoyed by their mothers that they'll do anything not to "get into it" after coming home and falling into their beds?

Kevin Xu, who works on the team behind imHome — a private family messaging app that allow you to have conversations with your parents, siblings, and/or children — is now working to relieve that stress and strife with the help of a big, bright red button.

Instead of having to text their parents in front of their friends or spend time crafting the perfect text, now users can let their folks know they got home with the simple tap of the button.

The prototype button featured in the video below was designed with the help of bt.tn for Stanford University’s annual hackathon.
