Artist David Zinn has been using his artistic prowess to brighten the days of ordinary people by creating surreal chalk art pieces on the sidewalks and brick buildings of Ann Arbor, MI since 2001.
Each illustration is cheerful and quirky, and Zinn uses his expertise in perspective to make each rendering come to life. You almost feel as if you're sharing the sidewalk with some monsters!
His work is fleeting, and his very "public" galleries are often destroyed by rain. While his amazing works of art may not last through the next thunderstorm, they've been captured on camera for all to enjoy.
