We all know what love looks like on television and in the movies: It involves men giving women flowers and expensive jewelry and chocolate, and women repaying them by wearing sexy lingerie and cooking delicious meals.
Of course, that's not what love looks like in real life. Love is messy and gritty and definitely not picture-perfect.
If you're in a long-term relationship, or have been in one, you know that half the time you're rolling your eyes at your partner and putting up with their nonsense.
Well, one young man, Taylor Burkhalter, recently shared some pictures of what love looks like in his house.
Taylor's Louisiana home was all set up for Christmas. On a whim, his mom decided that she wanted to do a "snow angel" on the living room carpet.
Taylor's dad begrudgingly moved all the furniture, then stood on the table to film her "snow angel" so that she could share it with her Instagram followers.

On December 24, 2017, Taylor Burkhalter shared three photos on Twitter.
He wrote, "I’ve learned more about love from watching my dad reluctantly rearrange the living room so my mom can make snow angel boomerangs for her 29 Instagram followers than anything else in life."
The first photo shows Taylor's mom, Libby, lying on the floor, while Taylor's dad stands on a table taking a Boomerang of her.
Boomerang is a type of short, looping video that users can create within Instagram; the short clip plays forward, then reverses, continuing indefinitely.
The next photo shows Taylor's dad looking frustrated at the entire process of taking footage for his wife's Instagram.
Taylor's third photo, below, will absolutely crack you up.
In the final picture in the series, Taylor's dad makes eye contact with Taylor and looks like he might burn a hole in the camera with his eyes.
It's obvious that Taylor's dad was not amused by the entire experience, but he did it anyways because he loves his wife.
And here's Libby's now famous snow angel, which she posted on Instagram.
She wrote, "Make your own snow in [angel emoji] in Louisiana."
Libby is absolutely gleeful in her Instagram Boomerang.
People everywhere are loving this family, and it's easy to see why.
Of course, after Taylor's tweet went viral, Libby's Instagram follower count increased a lot.
At the time of writing, Libby had a total of 15,200 followers (up from 29)!
People started responding to Taylor's tweet, saying this is the kind of love they want in life.
One person shared this tweet, which perfectly describes the situation.
Another person wrote, "OMG that last picture of your dad is everything."
