Homeless Man Passes Out On Cemetery Tombstone, Then One Woman Walks Right Up To Him

For Dr. Jacqueline Parson Baker, the Woodlawn Cemetery  in Las Vegas was a place of solitude and memoriam. Many of her family members were buried there, including her mother, father, and 33-year-old brother. She visited them often, but one visit alerted her to a very disturbing problem.

She spotted a homeless man passed out on someone's tombstone in the cemetery and couldn't believe her eyes. The thing is, he wasn't the only one.

In the video below, posted on April 15, 2017, Jacqueline explains, "I wanted to call the police, I wanted to get people involved. I wanted to tell the mayor, 'We need to lock them out.'"

Instead, Jacqueline took a step back and did something truly inspirational.

As seen in the video, she goes up to the homeless people found sleeping and roaming around the cemetery. One by one, she is helping them heal.

"The spirit of God spoke to me quickly and said, 'That's what your parents lived for,'" she says, recalling her mom and dad's relationship with the church a few blocks away.

She spots a homeless woman resting near a grave and walks up to her. She asks her, "What's going on?" Soon enough, the woman is in tears, in disbelief that a stranger is trying to help her cope. "God is getting ready to help you, and your life is getting ready to change," she tells the woman with confidence.

She sees homeless people gather in the cemetery every single day and makes it her responsibility to provide them with some food and water.

"I'll be back again tomorrow," she tells her family. And she will be back — with an open, compassionate heart.
