The National Anthem is not an easy undertaking for any singer.
Whether you're a child singing the Star-Spangled Banner or an adult with years of singing experience, there's tons of pressure to make listeners proud. And when you're singing it at a sporting event for countless viewers, the pressure is ten times greater – unless you're Jennifer Hudson.
Like the the veteran marine who left thousands in awe when he performed the patriotic song at a baseball game, Hudson also left millions speechless with her rendition at the Super Bowl in 2009. Even some of the football players appeared to get a little teary-eyed listening to the American Idol alum belt the words. You certainly can't blame them. It's hard not to be impressed by her incredible passion and the ease with which she sings every single note. I mean, just wait till she hits the incredible high note at the 2:45 mark! It might even give you goosebumps.
Many critics have labeled Hudson's rendition one of the greatest Super Bowl performances ever. When you watch it below I'm sure you will agree with them. This performance is enough to make every American fall in love with the powerhouse vocalist.
