Prepare to be amazed…
Johannes Stötter is an artist unlike any other. Since 2009, he’s been renowned for his ability to fuse fine art with realistic body-painting. A passionate lover of all things nature, most of Johannes' art combines natural environments and the human form, creating a surreal illusion out of everything from trees and wildlife to fruits and vegetables. By applying paint to his models' skin, the Italian mastermind seamlessly blends his subjects into their surroundings. He's so good at it that it's hard to tell where the models begin and the subject matter ends!
In 2013, Johannes became internationally famous, thanks to his tropical frog consisting of five human bodies. The piece made headlines all over the world.
Below, check out a jaw-dropping creation using a pile of colorful, creatively positioned rocks. At first glance, you'd never know a living, breathing person is hiding among the stones — but look closely…
From far away, this looks like an ordinary pile of colorful rocks. But look closer...
Hidden among the pile is a model whose body has been meticulously painted to blend in with the stunning surroundings. Do you see it?
Just a pile of leaves? Think again!
Johannes either blends his models right into the landscape...
...or seamlessly transforms them into the subject matter.
The work of Johannes Stötter is truly mind-blowing. I especially love how his pieces are a bizarre yet joyful celebration of nature and wildlife. If you agree, please SHARE this with your friends on Facebook
