Watch Johnny Cash And June Carter Sing The Classic ‘It Ain’t Me Babe’ In 1973

Johnny Cash just knew that June Carter was his soulmate. Watching them perform, their chemistry is noticeable. Both individually great performers and fantastic singers, but when put together, they made a musical powerhouse!

Their tumultuous history and the events that brought them together have always been quite controversial. But there's no denying that these two are simply a match made in heaven when it comes down to music. Just watch them perform "Jackson" together  their Grammy-winning duet  and you'll be sold.

Another one of their more popular performances together was the performance of Bob Dylan's classic tune "It Ain't Me Babe." When they performed it in front of a live audience in Australia in 1973, their love was palpable just five years into their marriage. Just watch how much they seem to be enjoying themselves! June sways to the beat and Johnny matches her rhythm  and they aren't afraid to be affectionate on stage!

This was always one of my favorite songs, and having not one, not two, but THREE of my favorite artists cover it just makes it so much better.

Johnny and June will always have a special place in my heart  and on my playlists!
