I know, I know…it sounds cruel. But it's not. I promise. Kids crying because their sad or hurt isn't funny, but parents of toddlers will understand…most of the time, that's just not the case! During the terrible twos and threes, you won't believe the absolutely absurd things that'll produce alligator tears and ear-splitting tantrums.
Non-parents out there, take note: just because my kid is crying doesn't mean I'm doing something wrong!
There's a blog called "Reasons My Son Is Crying" that perfectly captures this aspect of parenthood. Started by a loving daddy to document the many absurdities that would lead to tears for his two year old son, RMSIC has since grown into a place for frustrated parents of toddlers to contribute and laugh together over the many complex joys of raising a toddler.
