With Mother’s Day just around the corner, now’s as good a time as any to reach out to the elder ladies in our lives and let them know how special they are to us. After all, they’re mamas, too! And if not for them, we wouldn’t be here today.
We love grandmas here on LittleThings. They represent such a large demographic of people who make it their life’s work to give back to their community in whatever way they can. Take for instance Trudie Hughes, who we wrote about before for her harrowing endeavor of making 60 quilts every month for charity. The best part? She admits that giving back to others isn’t only her passion, but something that she genuinely considers “play.” But grandmas don’t have to be heroes to win our hearts. Their support and adoration is enough to remind us how special a grandmother’s love is.
I count my grandmother among my closest of friends. She’s been my rock, my confidant, and my supporting force for as long as my memory can stretch. So watching the below video hit close to my heart.
