Growing up, we had a really bad stray cat problem in my hometown.
It was always so heartbreaking to hear these tiny animals crying for help. I wanted to help every single one, and I still want to help every time I come across a video like this next one. It takes a very special person to stop and help a homeless cat in need, which is exactly what makes the doctors of YouTube series Vet Ranch such heroes.
We're big fans of Vet Ranch veterinarians Dr. Matt, who saved this tiny kitten from being euthanized, and Dr. Karri, who helps a dying kitten make a miraculous recovery in the following video. When this homeless kitty was found, he was crying in pain, and as you can see, barely getting by. He was found outside a convenience store, with his leg broken and destroyed due to an accident on the fan belt of a truck's engine. Dr. Karri knew she had to work fast to give this tiny angel the care he needed to survive.
The only option was for Dr. Karri to amputate the kitten's leg. At first, this broke my heart, but after seeing him happy and full of life after his surgery, I knew he was going to be OK.
