When mother cats give birth to a litter of kittens, they aren’t always able to be maternal to each kitty. Often, they abandon all or some of their litter. In this case, one little kitten was abandoned by her mama and left to fend on her own. Fortunately for this little kitten, a friendly neighborhood Golden Retriever adopted her.
The Golden, named Honey, nurtured the kitten as if she was her own puppy.
The two spent lots of time snuggling…
…And cuddling…
…and generally being super adorable!
Honey refused to let the kitten out of her sight. She became very protective of her little love!
Eventually, Honey’s human mom decided to adopt the little kitten as well.
It was impossible to separate the pair!
