Growing up, I was always disgusted by graffiti in public places… unless, of course, it was any good! Today I've done a 180-degree turn and have fallen hard for the street art revolution happening around the world. Just because street art is a relatively modern idea, however, it doesn't mean that the art itself has to feel modern…
I discovered the following photos online from Polish street artist and daring diva, Nespoon. This artist creates stunning pieces on sidewalks, buildings, even in thin air that imitate intricate traditional white lace. However, she doesn't just use thread, she uses everything from spray paint and stencils to plaster molds!
I've NEVER seen any kind of art like this before! It's simply amazing. Poland is known for it's over the top, but brilliant art in public places. It would make me so happy to see this kind of beauty in the world right in my own backyard. Nothing makes my day like a nice surprise!
