Going on a safari has always been one of my greatest dreams. Traveling and exploring a country I have never been to, immersing myself in the culture, and seeing animals that I would never get a chance to see in the wild back home would be the chance of a lifetime, and I would personally jump at the opportunity to do so.
But, as with anything that involves wild animals, you never truly know what you are going to get until you actually get the experience for yourself.
When Maria King traveled to the Kruger National Park in South Africa for a three-week safari, she had an experience of a lifetime. While some people may think that this experience could be considered scary, she says it was a dream come true.
We know from previous videos, like the video of the lions who played tug of war with safari jeeps at Kruger National Park, that the big cats you are likely to see while visiting are oftentimes very unpredictable.
After three weeks in the park and seeing four of the five big cats, Maria was finally able to see the one big cat she had wanted to see the most…a leopard.
But she didn't just get to SEE the leopard — because he wanted in her car, he came right to her window, where she got the most amazing close-up view you could hope for.
It might seem a little scary, but Maria took the appropriate precautions to have her car doors locked and windows rolled up so that she could enjoy her experience and also stay safe!
