Don't let their appearance fool you — these kids are no amateurs!
The grammar school students in this next video might have been born around 2005, but when they start to perform a song from 1981, it's like hearing it for the very first time.
Meet the Louisville Leopard Percussionists. If you missed their epic performance of a medley of classic Led Zeppelin songs, I highly recommend checking it out, no matter what kind of music you're into. These kids may be young, but they are old souls at heart…and their viral video proves just how important music education is in our nation's classrooms.
This time they the Percussionists are back with one of the greatest heavy metal songs of all time by the godfather of the genre himself, Ozzy Osbourne. When the students, all ranging from ages 7–14, start playing those first few notes of "Crazy Train," their incredible energy is impossible to ignore.
The nonprofit ensemble, which was founded by Louisville, KY school teacher Diane Downs, features more than 60 students from a wide range of backgrounds in the area. The students are taught how to perform, compose their own music and develop an appreciation for a wide variety of music.
Don't you wish more kids would start playing instruments when they are this young?
