As we grow older, we know that we are supposed to act mature. Being calm and poised is the professional way to act while at work, and one's silly side is better left at home.
Sometimes, no matter how old or mature we think we are, there are time when something happens that will throw us straight into a giggle fit. Once it starts, there is usually no coming back, and it's too late to try and get out of it. But it's moments like these that take an embarrassing or uncomfortable situation and make light of them, which really makes it a whole lot more bearable in the end.
When the Texas City Mayor excused himself during a council meeting to use the restroom, the other council members continued on with business as normal. It wasn't until a few minutes later that they realized someone had made a very big mistake.
Leaving his microphone turned on, the entire room was now forced to listen to the sounds of the mayor using the restroom, and one councilwoman simply can't contain her laughter!
It's a situation that has happened before. Remember the basketball player who accidentally announced his crush on a reporter when he thought his mic was off?
This councilwoman and the councilman's reaction definitely acknowledge the incident, but obviously show that they don't take themselves to seriously. Besides…everybody does it!
