The Most Extreme Haunted House In America Lasts Up To 7 Hours!

Are you a fan of getting scared to your core? Do you love haunted houses? McKamey Manor, a home-run attraction operated by terror fanatic Russ McKamey in San Diego, Calif., isn't your typical "boo" haunt with ghouls and goblins.

Each year, only a select brave few are chosen to go through the experience, which can last anywhere from four to seven-plus hours.

It's an extreme, terrifying, and often traumatic haunted house experience. If you dare to enter the haunt (admission is free with a dog food donation to Operation Greyhound Rescue), prepare to be touched, manhandled, screamed at, forced to eat absolutely disgusting things, soaked in freezing water, and made to live your worst nightmare.

The animatronics, actors, and set design are known for being top-notch, but over the years, McKamey Manor has reached new extremes, so much so that this year a Marine and adrenaline junkie had to be pulled out of the house after experiencing physical and mental breakdowns.

In fact, this year, most visitors, while they must be 21+,  sign a waiver and are made fully aware of the extremes they are about to endure, haven't lasted past the first 20 minutes of the experience.

There's no safe word, no quitting (no exceptions), and Russ McKamey has insisted that while each experience is highly controlled, customized, and monitored, as he films them all himself, he will only pull people out if he thinks they have reached their physical and/or mental breaking point.

McKamey Manor is open on weekends all year round, and is currently a VIP only experience.

1. McKamey Manor's 2013 promo is only a taste of what visitors experience.

2. Two guests, despite being extremely tough men, could not complete this year's experience due to its intensity.

As a result of incidents such as this becoming the norm for the haunt, Russ McKamey has ensured visitors that he will be toning things down quite a bit.

3. This 2012 tour video looks tame in comparison to what McKamey Manor has become.

4. Visitors used to be able to go in groups, but the rules have since changed, admitting only two people at once for a highly customized haunt experience.
