Having a sick baby is every parent's worst nightmare. No matter how old they are, it's awful to watch your baby go through something and not be able to help.
Sure, you can hold them and love them, but sometimes they need something more serious — medicine.
But what do you do if your baby won't take the medicine they desperately need to feel better? This is an issue many parents face, especially with infants.
If your little one needs to take some medicine, they may have to take it from a syringe. Since that doesn't feel natural in their mouth, though, some babies just refuse to consume whatever medicine comes out of it.
After Helena Lee's sweet baby wouldn't take the Calpol (the UK equivalent of Tylenol) he needed, she came up with a clever idea: a baby bottle hack.

Helena shared her clever hack on Facebook, and her post got a ton of attention.
Within just four days, the post had over 45,000 reactions and over 123,000 shares.

Basically, all Helena did was cover the normal medicine syringe with her baby's bottle top.
Once he started sucking on the nipple, Helena pushed the medicine through the syringe and through the bottle cap to her baby.
Since her son, Alfie, was so used to sucking on bottle nipples, he didn't think twice about what the substance was that was actually coming through the nipple.
One mom commented, "Sooooo smart. Definitely going to do this."
"Good technique. Must try," wrote another mom.
Still others wrote about the challenges they've had giving their kids medicine — it usually ends up all over the room, the furniture, and both baby and parent.
Some parents started tagging their spouses, asking why they never thought of this when they had babies!
In total, 52,000 people commented on Helena's photo.
One woman even explained, "Omg this would have saved me so many upsetting moments!"
It really seems like most parents can relate to Helena's experience.
