People everywhere have dreams of losing weight. Whether they used to be fit and got out of shape or have always been heavier than they want to be, it's not unusual for people to have a weight-loss goal.
For some people, the goal is to lose that 10 pounds of extra holiday weight. For others, it's to lose the 100 pounds they've been holding on to for years.
But losing weight is hard. It's often a full-time commitment, which is why some people go on weight-loss shows — they quit their jobs and dedicate their entire lives to losing weight. For most people, that isn't an option, though. Most people have full-time jobs, bills to pay, children and pets to take care of, and homes to maintain.
That's why, for so many people, losing weight seems like an impossible task. It's hard to fit in time for exercise and healthy meal preparation when you already have a busy life.
Michelle Magliori struggled with her weight for years before finally deciding to take the plunge and do something about it. In 2012, she got to a point of unhappiness with her body and her life that she decided was just too far — so she started her weight-loss journey.
Now, four years later, Michelle has lost over 200 pounds and is fitter than she ever imagined. But she's not done yet.
"Looking back on how far Iv [sic] come and no doubt I'm extremely happy and proud," she explained on her Instagram. "However I'll always give myself a challenge to improve and test how far I can push my body and mind. Strict dieting underway, training 7 days a week, cardio 7 days a week, and avoiding all cheat meals for now."
