Man Is Lured To Car By Stranger, Then Sees The Man Behind Her And Realizes She Set Him Up

Miguel Marrufo seemed like the typical moving man, but once he got off work, he became the highway hero that San Antonio, Texas, desperately needed.

After hearing about an older man who got hit by an 18-wheeler when his car broke down, Miguel decided that he never wanted to have that happen again.

In the video below, posted on February 2, 2017, Miguel says, "It broke my heart." From that moment on, Miguel started using his personal moving truck to drive around, carrying jumping cables, gasoline, and batteries for any disabled vehicles he saw on the road. His father had taught him to be kind, but he took that lesson to a whole new level.

"With their blessings, it just keeps me going, you know? I don't ask for anything," the selfless highway hero explains. Since the day he started, he successfully helped over 100 people with their car troubles for free.

He often posted stories about his rescues on his Facebook page. A woman named Katherine Martinez took a look at what Miguel was doing for the community and decided to be his next "urgent" caller.

Miguel arrived to the scene, where Katherine was standing outside behind her car.

As the highway hero steps out of his green pickup truck in the video below, Katherine says: "Hi, Miguel? Hi! Oh my God, I'm so glad you came, we didn't know what we were going to do."

Miguel goes to inspect the car… and then his caller tells him the car is fine and that she actually asked him to come meet her for a completely different reason. Then, a puzzled Miguel sees a well-dressed man walk over to him with a microphone and a very unexpected gift.
