Have you ever been asked for a dollar by a homeless person or someone who was just down on their luck, but had no change on you whatsoever?
Those moments are tough, because if you are the kind of person who wants to help in any way you can, you'll search high and wide to find that dollar for them.
One mom has come up with a solution for this scenario that everyone should try to adopt to help those who are in need.
Instead of just carrying a ton of extra singles, a mom and her daughter have created "Blessing Bags," where they stuff Ziploc bags with items they believe a homeless person would really need.
Using items that she got from the dollar store, this mom stocks these bags and stores them in her car.
I love that she packs very practical items like thermal socks, deodorant, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. She also includes snacks that will fill a person up like beef jerky and then also puts in a little cash. I think everyone should try and have a bag like this in their car. Will you be making one when you get home?
If you like what this woman is doing for those in need, then you will love what this man has been doing to end homelessness, building one tiny home at a time!
