Heartbroken Mom Receives Special Christmas Gift After Daughter’s Death

One parent's seemingly bleak holiday was made just a little brighter by three very thoughtful strangers.

After her daughter's death in February, Judy Adams was a heartbroken mother, taking care of a very young granddaughter. Christmas is her favorite holiday, and she says that she's usually very festive, putting up at least three Christmas trees. But this year's holiday season proves to be a little bleak because of her daughter's tragic absence.

So she posted on Facebook, “Missing JuLee and looking for a little light this Christmas season.”

What the mom really wanted was some Christmas lights to decorate her house  a small addition, but one that would mean so much to her, as JuLee loved lights as much as she does.

Some days later, three men showed up at her house.

Travis Calhoun, Casey Claywell, and Clayton Vowels got wind of the small request, and spent several hours lining the outside of Judy's house with beautiful icicle-shaped lights.

As it turns out, JuLee used to work as a cashier at the supermarket Travis says he shops at. He only found out some days after he and his friends set up the lights.

Now the grateful mom is calling them "angels" for the gift they were able to give her.
