Decades after she missed her own high school prom, a Louisiana mother finally made it to the customary senior right of passage.
Talk about a mama's boy! Malcolm Pichon of Salmen High School in Slidell, LA would have had no problem finding a date for the prom, but there's only one woman who he wanted by his side. Twenty-two years earlier Malcolm's mother, Michelle, was forced to drop out of high school to have Malcolm's older sister and missed her own prom.
Michelle has never had a problem seeing the softer side of her 6-foot-3, 330-pound son, who now plays football for Louisiana Tech, but this touching gesture was completely unprecedented. Despite his mother's plead that Malcolm bring his girlfriend instead, the sweet boy insisted that mom be his date. The school let their 21-and-under rule slide for the mom, who topped off the night by wearing the perfect frock – her daughter's graduation dress.
