LaVerne, a woman from British Columbia, Canada, had an incredibly difficult time dealing with the loss of her beloved bulldog, Paris.
Ever since Paris passed away a few years ago, LaVerne felt like a huge piece of herself was missing. She and her pup were the best of friends.
This past holiday season, LaVerne's family decided it was time to fill the hole in her heart … and they knew she was ready to care for another animal.
So, over the holiday season — after a ton of research, groundwork, and effort — LaVerne's family had not only found the perfect dog but also a bulldog from the exact same bloodline as Paris.
