It can be tough finding easy ways to renovate your house, especially since hiring someone to paint your walls or add a fixture to your home can cost a pretty penny.
This mom, however, had no trouble at all. Using minimal tools to completely transform her daughter’s playroom, I would’ve loved to see the look on her daughter’s face when she first saw her creation.
She takes a hexagon template and evenly surrounds the shape with green tape. The green tape serves as both a border and also a guide, to then use as a way of keeping an even pattern.
I’m always floored by the many artistic uses of tape one can depend on when creating something spectacular. Take this geometrical wall art, for example. The tape serves as a design, holding underneath it the original pigment of the wall.
Sometimes the simpler idea it is, the better the result. When this mom starts filling in the hexagon imprints on the wall with different colors, my eyes filled with excitement.
This is such a simple design and DIY tutorial, anyone could do it. It’s also incredibly mesmerizing and beautiful to look at. I’m sure people would appreciate this concept, regardless if they’re interested in renovating their rooms or not.
What an easy and unique trick!
