It may go without saying, but teachers who care make all the difference in children's education.
Educators who inspire children to learn and do their best make a lasting impact on their lives by instilling in them a sense that knowledge is powerful and caring about your studies is important.
There are plenty of ways that teachers have shown that they are personally invested in their students.
Some take the time to choreograph wacky dances, all for the sake of knowledge; others write individual notes to each of their students telling them that someone cares, in case they ever question it.
But sometimes it takes just one amazing letter to emotionally move both a child and their family.
This is what 11-year-old Ben Twist's teacher did for him after he bravely took his class's SATs.
The care and encouragement that was inside moved his mother so much that she had to share it on social media.

[H/T: Good Morning America]
Eleven-year-old Ben Twist, who was diagnosed with autism at age 5, recently received his results after taking his school's SATs.
He was the only student to take the test this year at the Lansbury Bridge School and Sports College, which is a school for children with special needs.
But along with Ben's results, he also got a surprise from his teacher, Mrs. Clarkson.
She had written a thoughtful letter assuring Ben that the test "only measure[s] a little bit" of who he is as a person.
It then goes on to list the many strengths he possesses that he should be proud of.
She praises he artistic talents, his abilities in sports and music, as well as his kindness and growing independence.
She finishes the letter by saying: “We are so pleased that all of these different talents and abilities make you the special person that you are and these are all of the things we measure to reassure us that you are always making progress and continuing to develop as a lovely bright young man. Well done, Ben, we are very proud of you.”
Ben's mother Gail was so moved by the piece that it brought her to tears. "I just didn't expect it at all," she, told ABC News.
"For someone to take the time to think about it and write that, it shocked me. It just broke me. It's great when there's something positive to share about such a wonderful teacher."
She was so inspired by Ben's encouragement that she posted the letter online, praising the teacher's kind words to her son.
The sweet teacher's note is proof that showing someone you care can make a huge impact on their life.
Mrs. Clarkson also helped to highlight an important point, that children of any age should not be measured simply on their test-taking abilities, but also by their amazing individual strengths.
