She Was Bullied For Being Pregnant… Then Her Co-Anchors Had The PERFECT On-Air Response

Being pregnant is usually a very thrilling time for a woman. Yet, for females whose careers place them in front of camera, a growing baby bump sometimes leads to vicious public scrutiny.

Canadian meteorologist Kristi Gordon, who experienced this type of ridicule, decided to call out her bullies on the air.

Gordon read hateful and appalling letters she’d received from viewers of Global BC, including one who wrote, "Buy some decent clothes and have some respect for your unborn child. You're not the first pregnant woman – OMG."

Children in school are usually the most common victims of bullying – over 3.2 million students are bullied each year. Just look at the students in this video or watch this young boy speak about what he goes through every day. But, truth is, bullying can upset a person no matter what their age.

Although Gordon said she considers herself a “confident person,” she admitted that she felt insecure after the unkind comments.

“It’s amazing, when you say something mean about someone, it still affects them,” Gordon said.

One of the best parts of the clip was also the support Gordon received from her co-anchors, Squire Barnes and Robin Stickley. (Look what they do at the 3:39 mark!)
