We all know that olive oil with a bit of coarse sea-salt is a healthy and delicious substitute for fatty butter or margin, but did you know that olive oil can be used for your beauty and cleaning needs as well?

1. Use olive oil as shaving cream when you run out.
Olive oil isn’t just a perfectly safe way to shave your legs, it’s also WAY more efficient than any store-bought shaving cream. Your razor will collect piles of hair in a single sweep when you shave with this all-natural lubricant!
2. Grease your measuring cups, spoons, and even knives with olive oil before measuring honey or any other sticky liquid.
Bakers will understand how important this is! Never spend hours cleaning agave or batter out of your measuring cup by pre-greasing with a smidge of olive oil.
3. Cure your cat of all her hairball woes!!
Just ½ a teaspoon added to your cat’s food everyday will help prevent OR even alleviate hairball problems. In the process, your cat’s coat will be softer and much more lustrous.
