Man Wins Halloween With Outrageous Costumes Every Year After Losing His Leg To Cancer

Halloween is right around the corner. If you're anything like me, you're scrambling to find a last-minute costume.

While I've always envied the creativity of people who go all out for Halloween to craft incredible and original costumes, I usually find some excuse to be something boring.

The amount of times I've settled for wearing all black and cat ears, or just used the holiday as an excuse to wear my pajamas in public, is actually a little embarrassing.

However, one person who doesn't miss a beat when it comes to Halloween is Josh Sundquist. Josh had his leg amputated as a young boy, which could give him a perfect reason to pass on celebrating the holiday that is all about dressing up.

Instead of sitting it out, though, Josh embraces his disability and creates amazing and unique costumes that in all honesty, barely anyone else could pull off. Josh shares his costumes on his website every year.

As you can see, Josh looks just like any regular guy — other than the missing leg.

Lucky for Josh, he doesn't let it get in the way of living his life and having a good time.

One of the most enjoyable ways he does this is by creating Halloween costumes that embrace the fact that he only has one leg.

Josh reveals his costumes every year, and people are always excited to see what he has in store.

In 2015, Josh dressed up as an IHOP sign, which just goes to show what an awesome sense of humor he has.

In 2014, Josh decided to dress up like a foosball figurine following his placement on the US amputee soccer team.

Josh's flamingo look from 2013 is by far my favorite. As you can see, it was also probably the most physically demanding of his outfit choices.

Moreover, Josh definitely doesn't let his condition get in the way of his physical fitness.

Amazingly, these photos were taken just 12 weeks apart, according to his website. It definitely proves how disciplined and capable this guy really is.

In 2012, Josh won Halloween by dressing up as the famous lamp from A Christmas Story. This look is almost too perfect.

In 2010, Josh took a page out of Shrek's book and dressed up as the gingerbread man when he got his leg eaten.

When Josh isn't planning his Halloween costumes, he works as a motivational speaker, best-selling author, Paralympic athlete, and perhaps most importantly, a husband.
