I’m always blown away by the level of thought a surprise engagement proposal might consist of. Especially when the proposal consists of depending on other people to show up and carry out a surprise like no other for the one you love.
However, this surprise beach proposal unravelled perfectly.
On June 26, 2014, Ryan and Jamie celebrated their one-year anniversary at Marge’s restaurant where they had their first date. In this clip, they go on to say how their first date consisted of four hours of chatting over drinks. Their first date went so well that they chose to make this a yearly tradition.
However, this time around, their visit to Marge’s is made a whole lot more interesting when Jamie realizes the row of people holding up a banner with the words, “Scho Some Clas, Marry My A**!”
While enjoying a lovely time in the sand, Jamie thinks she and Ryan are being filmed for a commercial advertising the bar and its fun beach quality.
However, the filming was for the epic surprise Ryan had in store. Once Ryan notions for Jamie to get up and look at the banner behind her being held up by family and friends, it’s truly beautiful to see how she reacts. It’s obvious how much these two care about one another due to how excited they were by the proposal news.
