With Just A Sheet Of Paper And A Beer Bottle, My Jaw Hit The Floor In 25 Seconds

I remember going on a camping trip with friends where we drove a couple hours away from any kind of convenience store or supermarket. We brought materials for s'mores, hamburgers, and hot dogs, and even we brought a few beers.

Unfortunately, these beers did not have twist off caps and we had no bottle openers on hand.

Now, I've seen ways to open wine bottles with just a key, or by using just my shoe, but it took us a while to figure out how to open the beer bottles.

That's why I wish I knew about the amazing life hack below before that trip. It turns out you can use any old sheet of paper to pop off the cap of your favorite brew. I think when we were camping, if we had looked in the car, we probably would have found a piece of paper somewhere.

After that experience, I decided to add a bottle opener to my keychain. I'm not a huge drinker, but better to be safe than sorry, right? Well, that was always helpful until I let a friend borrow the opener and I never got it back. If only I'd known the power of paper then…

As soon as I saw this video, I sent it to my friends. Gone are the days of having to worry about always having a bottle opener! And if it sounds too good to be true, check out the video below.

It really starts out this simply: take any sheet of paper and a beer bottle for this trick.

Begin by folding the paper in half.

Then fold it lengthwise again, and again, and again...

Fold the paper until it has become as rigid as possible. There — you've got a bottle opener! Don't believe me? Watch the video to see how it works!
