He Drove All Night To Rescue These Puppies, But When He Got There, I Was SPEECHLESS

WARNING: Please be advised that the following video contains disturbing footage of extreme animal neglect.

It takes a very special kind of person to rescue a pet in need, but what the people in this next video do for a living will give you a much greater appreciation than ever before.

We here at LittleThings are big supporters of the "adopt, don't shop" movement, which encourages people to stay away from purchasing pets from stores. That's not just because we want you to take home dogs like this one who would otherwise be euthanized, it's because so many pet store pets come from illegal, inhumane puppy mill organizations.

As you can see in this video, when the amazing group known as Animal Rescue Corps hear about pets in dire need of help, they go where no one else is brave enough to go. After hearing about dogs in unlivable, absolutely horrifying conditions in Coffee County, TN, the group drove all night to answer the call.

Scotlund Haisley, the President of Animal Rescue Corps, told The Huffington Post that the dogs were "statues…shut down and ready to die” when they arrived for "Operation Midnight Run." Although countless animals were tortured before the heart-wrenching sting, I'm happy to report that 97 dogs were rescued that day.

If you love dogs and believe every animal deserves a chance at a good life, please SHARE this story to bring awareness to the anti-puppy mill movement!
