I don’t know about you, but a man proposing with a plate of breakfast food seems like a dream come true to me.
On Saturday, July 16, 2015, at Blue’s Egg — a restaurant in West Allis, WI — this boyfriend surprised his girlfriend Michelle using a tray.
This tray was not any ole tray, all right. On it was a beautifully sculpted pancake in the shape of the words “Will you marry me?” that I’m sure no one could resist smiling at if they saw it.
The staff at Blue’s Egg helped this boyfriend make his surprise proposal a reality, and it was so worth it to see his fiancée’s priceless reaction.
Pancakes aren’t just a regular breakfast food. They’re known to make people smile for absolutely no reason. So, it definitely could have been the pancakes, or the fact that he was proposing, but you can tell she had no idea what was happening.
It’s beautiful to see how shocked her family was around her to see this proposal taking place, and the bride-to-be was pretty surprised herself.
There’s nothing like a hot tray of “Will you marry me?” pancakes that shows how much you care for someone on a Saturday morning.
Now, if this isn’t literally and metaphorically the sweetest proposal, I’m not sure what is.
