When you decide to become a parent, you also decide to take on a lot of negative stereotypes… most of which are completely untrue.
When you make this decision, all of your friends will start to think that you will no longer have time for them once you have a baby, or that you will suddenly become boring, or that you won't be "fun" anymore. Your bosses may think that your attention will constantly be somewhere else, (like wherever your child is), and that you won't be as focused at work.
While moms and dads are constantly proving these stereotypes wrong, by being a great friend, employee and parent all at the same time, there are a few parenting stereotypes that are undeniably true.
For example, the stereotype that parents are the ultimate multi-taskers has been shown in videos we've shared before, like one where a busy mom gets her workout and wine night in all at the same time, and one of a dad who gets dressed while holding his baby.
Another stereotype that has been proven true is that parents say some pretty funny things. Things that, if taken out of context, would sound extremely weird.
