When Sierra and Lane Sharry got the news that they were going to be parents, the young couple was overjoyed with excitement. They had only months to prepare the baby's room, pick the right paint colors, buy diapers, take baby classes. They were both nervous, but they were ready to start this great adventure together.
Unfortunately, Sierra would have to go on that adventure alone. In early July of 2014, the very pregnant mother-to-be got a phone call that was going to change her life irrevocably. Lane had gotten into a terrible accident.
The eight-months-pregnant Sierra rushed to the hospital where she was informed that the father of her unborn child was in the E.R. Later on, Lane passed away, and Sierra had lost her best friend.
While Sierra couldn't bring the love of her life back, like the Mother who miraculously revived her baby with the power of touch, she decided that she had to be strong for her son. She was going to get through this and raise her family.
Months after she gave birth to her beautiful baby boy, she decided to take a family portrait, but when Kayli Rene Photography heard their heartbreaking story, she decided to insert her own addition into the photo.
Take a look at the beautiful story that's spreading across the nation. I've never seen photoshop used in such an inspiring way before. This is such a good idea for anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Though Lane might not be around physically anymore, he's certainly there with his young family in spirit.
