These Rescued Pit Bulls Got The SWEETEST Makeover, Showing The TRUE Nature Of The Breed! This Is BEAUTIFUL!

A San Francisco-based photographer wants to change society's perception of the 'vicious' Pit Bull. If you know anyone who owns a Pit Bull, you already know that the breed is not vicious at all. They are kind and loving dogs by nature, but bad owners can make very bad dogs.

Photographer Sophie Gamund admits that she used to be afraid of Pit Bulls after she was attacked by a big dog as a small child. Gamand says this gave her a prejudice against bigger dogs and left her nervous around the breed. Gamand, who volunteers to take photos at animal shelters, realized she was unnecessarily getting tense around Pit Bulls, who are so often passed by at shelters.

Gamand says she felt responsible to show the world how sweet and tender Pits can be. Since many people still think of the Pit Bull as a rugged, gritty and tough animal, she wanted to use flowers to contrast what people may think. Of her experience Gamand told KGO-TV that "Every dog is different and all the pit bulls I meet at these various shelters are amazing, wonderful, loving animals."
