I can't even imagine how scary it is to work up the courage to propose to someone.

I'm sure you know when it feels like the right time, but the risk seems scary even if you feel confident.

Casey is from Australia, and Chris planned a romantic getaway to Bali, Indonesia, for the two of them.

One passenger told 9News, "I actually picked up my phone and sent a text message to my family, just hoping that they would get it. We were all pretty much saying goodbye to each other. It was really upsetting."

Thankfully, the pilot was able to make an emergency landing and everyone onboard was okay.

Chris and Casey "reconfirmed" their engagement once they were safe on the ground, but what a scary, but passionate proposal story!
