Texas Pre-K Teacher Makes Little Girl’s Day By Copying Her Gorgeous Hairstyle

When you're a kid, all you want is to make an impression on the adults around you.

Most children seek attention from their parents, teachers, and other adults in their lives. Although many parents tell their kids how special they are, it often means so much more coming from someone else.

Leigha Bishop, a pre-K teacher at Lakeview Elementary in Sugar Land, Texas, always tries to make her students feel appreciated and unique — and she recently did something very special for one girl in her class.

A 4-year-old in Leigha's class came in with beautiful Fulani braids. Leigha loved the look, so she decided to do the hairstyle herself.

She told her pre-K student she was going to copy her hair, but the little girl didn't believe her. So when Leigha came in the next day with the exact same updo, the 4-year-old couldn't believe it.

The student didn't believe that Leigha would actually copy her hairstyle, so when she came to school the next day, she was blown away.

Leigha told BuzzFeed, "Her jaw dropped, and she just stared at me. I told her, 'You thought I was playing? We are going to be cute together!'"
