Mom Gets Pregnant, Then She Starts Selling Her Pregnancy Tests On Craigslist

The thought seems unbelievable. One pregnant mother received so many requests for positive pregnancy tests that she began selling them on Craigslist. However, she wasn't alone.

Women all over the country are selling their positive pregnancy tests to other women. Some say it's just to "prank" a friend, but others are using the tests for a sinister reason.

Mistresses and girlfriends are using the results to trick men into marrying them, extorting money from them, or to leave their wives.

“Wanna get your boyfriend to finally pop the question? Play a trick on Mom, Dad or one of your friends? I really don't care what you use it for,” reads one post on Craigslist from Buffalo, NY.

The used tests range from $25 to $35. Legal professionals believe that using a deceptive pregnancy test to con someone for money or marriage is committing fraud.

"If a married man was having an affair and he tried to break it off with the girl, and she became upset and decided to present this fake pregnancy test and demand money, otherwise she'd tell the spouse — I think that would be a level of blackmail," said Officer Gary Mayson.
