Prince George Had The Perfect Response When His Dad Asked Him To Rate His Mom’s Garden

Prince George has always been portrayed as a sweet child in news stories about the British royal family, and this throwback video from 2019 supports those stories.

George and his family were tending to Kate Middleton's garden when Prince William stopped and asked his then 5-year-old son about the garden: "What would you give it out of 10, George? How many marks out of 10 would you give it? With 10 being the highest."

Young George is quick to heap on the praise. He replies, "Twenty."

William adds, "Twenty out of 10? That’s pretty good. I think Mummy’s done well."

The Princess of Wales designed the garden for the Chelsea Flower Show that year.

Kate commented that her three children found ways to use the garden that she hadn't thought of. As she put it, the kids "played last night in a way I hadn’t imagined. They were throwing stones. I hadn’t actually thought that that was what they would be doing. They kicked their shoes off, and wanted to paddle in the stream … using it in a way that I hadn’t anticipated."
