I absolutely love reading historical ghost stories.
And one of the most famous unexplained mysteries of all time is that of two young princes, Edward and Richard. When their father, the King of England, passed away in Britain in 1483, preparations were supposed to begin for Edward to ascend to the throne. But instead, something much more sinister happened.
Edward and Richard, who were only 12 and 9 years old, respectively, were placed in the care of their uncle, the famous Richard III. Instead of caring for them, Richard III had them sent to the Tower of London where they were never seen or heard from again.
Most historians believe that young Edward and young Richard were murdered by their uncle so he could take control of the throne. Proof about what really happened has never been found.
Today, however, a photo has been circulating that might make the story even more terrifying. In this photo, which was taken at the Tower of London, a mysterious figure appears, much like the photo of the Lady of Raynham's ghost.
People claim this chilling photo reveals the ghost of young Prince Edward wandering the Tower of London, hoping to tell his story. Do you see the figure in this photo? Let us know in the comments!
This recent photo shows the Tower of London, the last place the young princes were sent before their permanent "disappearance." If you look closely, do you see anything out of the ordinary?
Observers claim that this figure of a young boy is none other than young Prince Edward, haunting the tower where he was once imprisoned.
By zooming in, we can take a closer look at this mysterious figure. Could this really be the ghost of one of the murdered princes?
The mystery of what happened to Edward and Richard may never be completely solved. In 1674, nearly 200 years after their disappearance, workmen at the Tower of London dug up a box that held the remains of two children. They were re-buried at Westminster A
The princes' uncle Richard III may have gotten away with murder. Or perhaps the boys met some other unexpected ill fate. Either way, the claims of a young princely figure trying to proclaim his stories throughout the halls of the Tower of London still continue to be shared today.
