After Years Of Struggle, This Dog Beat All Of The Odds To Live A Good Life

After a whole lifetime filled with struggle and sadness, it seems that Quasimodo is finally going to be given the second chance that every single dog deserves.

Since birth, Quasimodo had a genetic defect in his paws that has always forced him to move only by crawling on his elbows. For the first three years of his life, his owner kept him chained up, until he was finally abandoned and tossed out of his owner's pickup truck.

Thankfully, he was picked up off of the side of the road, but it was quickly realized how severe his birth defect was. Astoundingly, even though Quasimodo had grown up in relative isolation, the employees of that pound instantly saw how unbelievably happy little Quasimodo was. His personality was excitable and loving, and he didn't seem to even realize that he was "different" from the other rescue dogs!

Quasimodo needed around $4,000 in order to undergo a surgery that would correct his deformed wrists, and finally allow him to walk again. Starting a GoFundMe campaign, the people in this dog's life did everything they could to allow this sweet little pooch to walk again!

Check out the video below to see how the intense surgery went.
