This Tim Burton Queen Of Hearts Makeup Is The Costume Tutorial You Have To See

We're cutting it down to the wire with Halloween costume options, and if you're anything like me, it's time to pull it together and pick your own. Leading up to the October festivities, we've shared with you all of our favorite tutorials from some of the web's best makeup artists, and the one below is no exception.

Our favorites to date have included an instructional video from YouTube makeup artist Emma Pickles, who taught us how to become a comic book character or pop art figure without breaking the bank; and she also shares (for the scarier variety) an awesome tutorial on how to get the Joker's iconic look for Halloween.

But this one from makeup expert dope2111 — the same genius behind a mind-blowing before and after transformation of her cousin — is for the Tim Burton fans among us. She recreates one of history's most notorious head-hungry villains, the Queen of Hearts.

One of the things you'll definitely need if you're going to recreate this look is a blue shadow, and she suggests Wet n Wild's "Blue Had Me at Hello," which you can get in a pallet here. As for those of us with darker eyebrows? She recommends using a washable glue to help cover your natural hair color and mask it in with your white face paint. From there, we'll let her show you the way below!

Do you love her interpretation of the iconic cranky Queen? Let us know in the comments, and SHARE this tutorial with your friends on Facebook so they can try it, too!
