I don't know about you, but I wouldn't trade my sibling for anything in the world. And, on National Sibling Day, I really give thanks for the greatest gift my parents ever gave me.
Seriously, no one can take the place of your brother or sister. They'll always be there for the fun times, like these three siblings who started a band. Yet, they'll also be there to protect you like one sibling named Zach Upshaw, who never turned his back on his brother who has cerebral palsy.
Your sibling wasn't only the first friend you ever had, they've also been there through thick and thin.
As writer Jeffrey Kluger said, "Siblings are the only relatives, and perhaps the only people you’ll ever know, who are with you through the entire arc of your life.”
Of course, there have been times when they've tested your patience. But, in the end, you knew you'd always make up – you are related, after all.
In honor of National Sibling Day, below are the reasons why you sometimes can't live with them, but you certainly can never live without them.

2. Other times, they'll hog all the toys.
3. They might even steal your favorite superhero.
4. Or make sure you don't steal theirs.

7. They'll even bother you when you don't find it funny at all.
8. There will be times they will invade your space.
9. And, you will sometimes disagree on even the simplest things.
