For any pet parent, it is a little nerve wrecking introducing a massive dog to a weeks-old kitten. But when the owners in this next video introduced their giant dog to a tiny kitten, it proved once and for all that most dogs are just big lovers.
In the video, 5-year-old golden retriever Keelo meets Koda, a rescued orphaned kitten, for the first time. And it is love at first sight for these two pets.
"I was worried that Keelo would intimidate the kitten too much given their large size difference, but was pleasantly surprised to find Koda curiously approaching him without fear!" their owner Trisha wrote on YouTube.
Keelo puts his head down on the bed and looks longingly at the tiny kitten. At one point, the dog sees the kitten coming close to the edge of the bed and actually moves in its way to make sure the kitten stays safe. How sweet is that?!
"They started cuddling within 20 minutes of meeting each other and have remained best friends and snuggle buddies ever since," their owner added.
These two are going to have a long and loving relationship, and the little kitten will have a great and strong brother to grow up with.
