Sara Petty mostly wears whatever she likes. However, when she saw a stranger say that girls who weigh more than 200 pounds shouldn't wear everything from leggings to crop tops to bikinis, she was in shock.
Not only were the negative comments hurtful, most of them were coming from other women. One woman even told Sara that she would get diabetes and heart disease because she was fat.
Sara knew she had to do something to dispel the myth that women of a certain weight can't or shouldn't wear certain clothing items.
That's when she posted a set of four photos on Twitter that quickly went viral. Sometimes when someone says you cannot do something, it's a great time to show them that you can.

"Diabetes, cancer, heart disease, stroke, arthritis — all coming fat girl's way," a woman named Colleen Conley tweeted at Sara Petty.
But these were just a few of the horrible comments Sara witnessed after sharing photos of herself on social media.
“I had seen a tweet from someone saying that 200-pound girls shouldn’t wear bikinis,” she told The Huffington Post. “I just did some quick searches and found a bunch of similar tweets, so I decided I could do my part to chip away at body-shaming however I could.”
"We have a lot going against us as women, we don’t need other women against us, too," she said. "I also hope that girls are able to separate who they are from the number that shows up on the scale."
"You over 200 pounds and got the audacity to wear a crop top," one user wrote.
"I'm sorry if you're like 200 pounds you shouldn't be wearing a crop top," another said.
"If you're 200 pounds maybe a bikini isn't for you," one user said.
Ultimately Sara's message was for women to wear whatever they want.
