On its own, motherhood is a hefty job. But imagine being both a mom and a marine?
For the past few years, Sarah Shaw has learned how to balance the two roles.
Perhaps that ambition and dedication is what makes her so deserving of this stunning makeover.
In the video below, posted on May 8, 2017, Sarah explains, "I've been a Marine for eight years now, and we've moved from East Coast to West Coast. My husband and I are both active duty."
She continues, "We have a 4-year-old son and we were actually both deployed at the same time, when he was 7 months old. He actually went to go live with my dad for a full year."
Sarah also says that she and her husband recently had a daughter, as well. And once again, both parents are going to be deployed very soon. Luckily, this Marine mom gets a bit of time to herself before she is stationed for her next service in the U.S. Military.
"This makeover means a lot to me," she says, adding, "Just to get some mommy time and you know, get out, get fancy a little bit."
