Saving money is always a priority in our house, but when you have a few kids running around, you definitely go through clothes faster than you'd like (and find things in the wash and the dryer that shouldn't have ended up there in the first place, which is why I'm glad I now have a secret solution for saving them!). Shoes are another thing that I seem to always be buying, especially the nice, shiny ones that start off as dress shoes but slowly turn into "mud closet shoes" because they've become scuffed over time.
Imagine my surprise when I realized I could save my scuffed black shoes with a Sharpie!
Yes, you need shoe polish too, but by using a Sharpie, you get much more bang for your buck, and you can actually make those scuffs disappear for good!
