These Sesame-Soy Turkey Meatball Skewers Can Be Enjoyed By Child And Adult Party Guests Alike

It's very tempting to play it safe when it comes to planning the menu for your kids party. If hosting playdates has taught you anything, it's to never overestimate the sophistication of other children's palates. Obviously, the best way to keep your guests happy (and avoid meltdowns) is to serve kid-friendly food.

Of course, it's easy to overlook the fact that adults will also be present and probably also be hungry. So, before you pre-heat the oven to make chicken nuggets or reach into your pantry for a box of mac and cheese, check out this recipe that will satisfy tastebuds of all ages.

Chef Vanessa Cantave, also known as The Hostess Next Door is here to share her fool-proof recipe for sesame-soy turkey meatball skewers. This recipe has an Asian twist on a tried and true crowd favorite — the meatball. Substituting turkey for your usual ground beef is an easy (and equally tasty) way to cut down the calories. The best part? The kids won't have any idea.

The recipe below is easy and quick enough to handle the morning before the party even though your guests probably won't believe you. In fact, be prepared to be asked where you ordered them from, probably more than once.

So, next time you're organizing a kids party, don't forget about parents and guardians. And definitely don't forget this recipe!
