Among them was one dog whose journey from a shelter to a forever home would touch the hearts of everyone involved. We Love Animals YouTube channel shared the story of Benny, who was only 8 months old when he arrived at the shelter after sadly being abandoned.
Like most dogs in an animal shelter, Benny could not wait to be adopted by a loving family and find his forever home. He would always stare at the door with his big eyes and a hopeful look on his face, curious if it was the day he would get to be free and happy.
Fortunately for Benny, that day had finally come! When the door to Benny’s kennel is opened, his tail immediately starts to go crazy. Unsure of what is going on, you can tell he is a little confused and very timid to come toward the staff members.
When the staff member put a leash on Benny and led him out of his kennel, he couldn’t contain his excitement. He was jumping so high he was almost doing flips! He automatically knew that he was finally going to his forever home. He ran down the hallway anxious to get outside and be free dog!
