Camping is one of my favorite activities. Whether setting up a tent, sleeping under the stars, or staying in a cabin, vacationing in the middle of the woods can be beautiful and relaxing. I used to love taking family trips to the Pennsylvania woods to get away from it all. We would sit around a fire at night, swap ghost stories, and toast marshmallows for s'mores. So when I saw this incredible cabin in the woods, I absolutely couldn't believe it.
From the outside, it looks just like a couple of shipping containers sitting in the woods. In fact, if I saw this from the outside I probably wouldn't give it a second glance. But what was inside those containers? This surprising and impressive tiny home is a true shipping container conversion success story.
This takes tiny houses transformations to a whole new level, right in the heart of nature. I wish I had this on my camping trips growing up!

These three shipping containers sit side-by-side on a raised slab with what appears to be a wooden platform adjacent to it.

But when the doors to the shipping containers open? Inside is an incredible converted tiny home!

The raised platform suddenly becomes a front porch for this amazing and unique cabin in the woods.

These converted shipping containers are located deep in the woods in a very secluded part of Southern Ontario, Canada.

The inside of this surprisingly spacious tiny home features a wood-burning fireplace for heat. The home has also been fitted with a kitchen and shower.

With its wall of natural light and gorgeous hardwood floors, this modernly decorated house brings all of the comforts of home to the woods!

Well, almost all the comforts of home. This house does not have a functioning toilet. For that, you'll have to visit the outhouse in back, just like when you're camping!

This incredible shipping container cabin transformation is the perfect place to get away from it all!
